This fort, built by ramming together yellow clay, sand, charcoal, and glutinous rice, served as an ironclad bulwark for coastal defense at Zhenhai Port—and more than that, it stands as a monument to victory, forged with wisdom and courage by the sons and daughters of China during the Sino-French War.

The mountain temple in the Zhaobaoshan Tourist Scenic Area will open on the night of November 7, 2025 (the 18th day of the ninth lunar month), which marks Buddha's Birthday. Opening hours will be from 6:00 PM on November 7 to 6:00 AM on November 8. The ticket price is 20 yuan per person.
